I really can't understand how parents can baby their children so much. They're hurting their children far more than they are helping them.
So, today folks, I bring you the ultimate solution to kids who don't want to do anything after high school, or ones that use excuses to buy some free time at home before they decide to get a life on their own terms instead of yours.
When your kids graduate high school or get their GED, put them to work! Tell them to go apply at Walmart, CVS, or any other retail store and give them Goot's guide to Getting A Retail Job Fast so they can't fail.
The worst thing you can do is hurt your child by letting him or her stay at home as a young adult without learning the responsibility of holding a job. The easiest way to learn responsibility in this area is to help them join a great company through a Walmart application because they are usually hiring. If a WM job is unavailable, consider all the major retail companies, and with the help of Goot's Guide" you shouldn't have any problem helping them land a job.
Far too many of our kids spend their early twenties at home without a worry or care because we as parents, hesitate to put our foot down and say, "It's doing it this way, or else." These kids usually spend the rest of their lives being unproductive and mooching off everybody else.
So, parents, get to work. Haul your big, overgrown children to a WM near you and help them fill out a Walmart online job application at the store's kiosk. After that, start filling out other company applications as well and expand your child's chances at getting hired. You can thank me later!
